A letter from our founder.

If you've found your way here, chances are you're exploring one of the biggest decisions of your life. Perhaps you're a student wondering whether Germany is the right place to study. Perhaps you're a parent trying to make sense of an unfamiliar education system. Maybe you're a school counsellor looking for reliable guidance, or a university partner curious about who we are. Before I tell you about Workpunkt, I'd like to tell you why it exists.

When I moved to Germany, I came here as an international student with dreams, questions, and the quiet uncertainty that accompanies every major life decision. Like so many others, I hoped education would open new doors, but what I discovered was far greater than a degree or a career opportunity. Germany gave me the chance to begin again. It challenged me to grow, adapt, learn a new culture, and rebuild my professional life from the ground up. More importantly, it taught me that when a society invests in people, remarkable things become possible.

That experience left a lasting impression on me. Over time, I realised that the greatest way I could honour the opportunities Germany had given me was not simply to build a successful career for myself, but to help others find their own path with greater clarity, honesty, and confidence than I had.

As I began working with universities, students, families, and educational institutions, I noticed something that troubled me deeply. Too many life-changing decisions were being made on incomplete information. Students were often encouraged towards institutions that suited a business model rather than their aspirations, while parents invested their life savings without fully understanding the alternatives available to them. Guidance, in many cases, had become transactional. I knew there had to be another way.

Workpunkt was never created to become another overseas education agency. It was created because I kept returning to one question: How do we genuinely help people build better futures while also contributing something meaningful to the country that gave us this opportunity?

Our purpose is simple: to help Germany attract the talent it needs while helping talented people build the future they deserve.

As our work evolved, I realised that the future of education would not be shaped by people alone, nor by technology alone. It would belong to organisations capable of combining the wisdom of human experience with the speed and intelligence of technology. That belief eventually led us to build Klara and the wider Workpunkt platform. Technology, however, has never been our purpose. It is simply one of the ways we serve it.

I have always believed that meaningful work begins with service. When our intention is genuinely to help another person make a wiser decision, technology becomes more useful, knowledge becomes more valuable, and business becomes more sustainable. Our responsibility is not simply to help someone receive an admission letter. It is to help them choose wisely.
